Giving us a name was a no-brainer!

We named Wooqer after "Sooq/souq" derived from Arabic references to "markets" in both physical and economic sense. This is in line with our mission: Save time & money for people by organizing and targeting all promotions: Online and Offline.


Metrics

Our business is built around metrics: the ability to accurately understand effectiveness of marketing and user preferences - one to one. Everything we do, for consumers, brands, OEM's, channels - we do it to better refine our metrics, so that we can power more accurate and fast promotions. Metrics bring us our majority revenues.

When you search by brand for a particular category, your "moment of truth" regarding advertising and top of mind recall arrives. When a promotion is launched through any Wooqer channel, we can track its journey through the entire lifecycle, providing you with intelligent inputs on how well it worked.

We are not satisfied by collecting metrics alone - we are working hard to power brand side of decisions - real time when possible; 100% accurate always. We architected YUMEYA towards this objective. We are always working at bettering our algorithms, devising new scorecards to easily explain our metrics and make it very fast and accurate for brands to meet their promotional needs. When brands can act fast enough, consumers benefit - an area we consider core to our deliverables.


What's on SALE? - The Browse

SALE is quite-essential browsing behavior. The flexibility to browse current promotions or "Sale" by Brands, category, sale type and store present all ways you can possibly browse a sale, customized to need. You can check your engagement with brands through brand logo Browse, putting all emphasis on how easily you connect with the brands.

There are many more possibilities we are currently exploring including facilities to browse from mobile phone, kiosks and browse offline to fill in those spaces when you want to, but cannot be online. We continue to work on more innovative ways to browse available promotions, brands, categories and products.


Validating decisions - The Search

When you have made up your mind to buy a particular product or service, you want reassurance that you are not missing out on better buying possibilities - In walks our search. Our search understands a brand, product, category, and sale type - when provided one. Our search is singularly focused on finding the most accurate set of matches as fast as possible. We take certain assumption liberties to ensure that we provide only the most accurate results. Our search understands complex strings, phrases, Sale types, brand, categories, savings, price, product and a combination of any of those thereof.

If there is one area that captures most of our engineering attention - it is search. Making it better, more relevant, accurate and fast - over Internet, over mobile and over television. We know that possibilities are endless and we are not stopping for now. We shall update this space with more on search advancements when we meet our next milestone in the later half of this year.


The new - Mallwalk

Malls, airports & large format stores have a problem and it is real. Territorial expanse comes at cost of accuracy and specificity. Footfalls to conversion ratio need help. Buying is low as consumers are unsure of the objective to be at the mall. That's what our mallwalk does. We help increase the average awareness of a walk in and arm him with an objective to be at a mall to start with.

We turn tables by letting a mall walk in front of you! We have taken the first step and know that possibilities are again endless - we are working on all of them. While Mallwalk would be a smaller contribution to our revenue as percentage, but we believe it is important to the ecosystem - and helps us generate valuable insights into consumer preferences. There are two ways consumers access information - Browse & search, and we are committed to making it universally available and relevant in all possible ways.


My intelligent tool - Yumeya

When it came to recognize promotions as increasingly strategic tool - particularly in value based societies (Asia, south Americas and more), we built Yumeya to equip you with a tool to intelligently author new and accurate promotions in fastest possible time - and at lowest possible cost. Yumeya required us to think though & implement over 30 complex workflows (We keep adding more), real time integration with other aspects of wooqer (www.wooqer.com, aida.wooqer.com, oem.wooqer.com, pbox.wooqer.com,) and various other features that make it the window for a brand head/manager.

Yumeya makes easy the task of creating new promotions, participate in end-of-month sale, sponsor brand loyalists, interact with sponsee's and effectively communicate with partners and vendors. We are currently working on two versions of Yumeya - online and offline. You can browse all analytics set by you at any given point of time.

We love Internet for its universal possibilities, but we also respect the fact that there are times when you are away from Internet and have to get work done - we are creating offline versions for all our tools including Yumeya. We shall post an update on our progress by next quarter on this aspect.

We built oem channel to make more relevant innovation available to brands in their promotional efforts from all over the world. At the same time, manufacturers can now freely associate their products/offerings to target brands - taking out most interaction costs and making information available at point of decision.

In a way, this channel organizes and contextually makes available, a large set of partnership possibilities - showing new ways to generate revenue and share innovation. The threshold to any new manufacturing set up is high interaction costs with target customers and generating awareness about their offering. oem.wooqer.com reduces this cost to almost nil through contextual associations and Yumeya.


The Premium

Excess inventory need not be always liquidated through distress sale events - instead leveraging excess inventory as a marketing premise for the brand fence sitter not only inducts new patrons, but also generate a good pipeline for arriving fresh stocks.

Our extensive insights infrastructure ("metrics") allow you to identify likely brand converts through an extensive wish management platform and our Sale infrastructure allows you to directly fulfill wishes; winning new hearts.

Wooqer is committed to discouraging extensive discounting and instead educates consumers on other "value" possibilities while encouraging brands to explore more tools (sale types) for activation.
